Why should I register?

Registering and becoming a member of yourbyronbay.com.au enables you to use the forum, submit news, photos, classifieds and add events and business listings. We need you to register so that we know that you're a real person and not a 'Spam Bot' which could add malicious content to this site.

How do I register?

Registering is easy, just click on the 'create account' link which is under the login box on the right hand side of every page.

How can I submit news to this site?

Simple- just email your news and any relevant images to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Your submission will be reviewed and if it's suitable you will see it on this site soon. Please allow 3 working days- it may be up sooner but if you know you want some news published within a certain time frame, please give us at least 3 days. We cannot guarantee your submissions will be published.

How do I submit photos for the Gallery?

How can I add my event to the events calander?

You must be a registered member of yourbyronbay.com.au (see above) and logged in. Once logged in go to the events calendar and click on 'add event' at the top of the calendar. Fill in as much detail as possible and don't forget to add your contact details or website URL at the bottom, then press 'Add Event' to submit. All events need to be approved by a site administrator before being published.

How can I add a post to the forum?

To add a post to the forum you must be a registered member of this site and logged in. See above for details on how to register and log in.

How can I post a reply in the forum?

To reply to a post in the forum you must be registered and logged in (see above). Once logged in simply go to the forum post you would like to reply to and click the 'reply' icon.

How do I add my business to the Business Directory?

You must be a registered member of the site and logged in (see above). Once logged in go to the Business Directory and click on 'Add Entry' at the top of the page. This will take you to a form to fill in.
