This site has just been launched - 1st June 2007.

It's for the Byron Bay community and surrounding areas. Yes, there's lots of sites out there for tourists, many 'guides to Byron'. But what about the people that live here? It's the community that makes this unique and beautiful region.

The Your Byron Bay site is for you! let us know your news, have you got an event coming up? - well put it on the events calendar. The forum is where you can discuss issues - whatever you want (within reason), ask for advice and share your information. (You will need to become a member by registering and then login to add posts or replies on the forum - this is purely to validate that you're a real person and to help prevent malicious posts)

We will be putting a gallery up soon with your photos - anything that you feel reflects the spirit of the region. So please send us some images to get it started.

There's also a business directory and classifieds section, so browse for things you need and even search for jobs. You can also submit your ads to these sections.

Ultimately, this site will become what the community want to make it, this is just the starting point - join us and be part of the community.
